The Komori Legacy Generation One Chapter 3 | Growing Up

Welcome back!

I ended up losing the old cover I was using for this Generation, so I had to make a new one. One of these days I might be bothered to make a decent one.

Last time, Rae gave birth to her second child, a little girl named Aquila, who quickly became the apple of her father's eye. After that, Cetus became quite a curious child and Rae also gave birth to their third kid, Draco. The family was also about to get robbed, but then my game crashed. So now we're starting a little back. I didn't lose much progress, luckily.

Rae and Alejandro were caught trying for their fourth child. Luckily, there was no lullaby and Rae hadn't shown any pregnancy symptoms.

Rae: You're the one who gets easily distracted.

Well, you don't have to jump in the sack every hour, you know. Try doing something productive with your time?

Alejandro: We have three bolts. Get used to it.

Yup, like I probably said before, Rae and Alejandro have a natural three bolts, so they're always autonomously doing romantic stuff to the point that they cancel out more important tasks just to goose or serenade each other.

Rae: Let's annoy her more by cancelling out things she wants us to do and just do this for two hours instead, over and over again?

Ajelandro: Baby, you read my mind.

Yeesh, I don't think I've ever been like this with any of my partners. I'm not really the clingy uber loveydovey romantic type.

Draco, in the meantime, has completely stolen my heart. The snapdragons keep him happy, aside from when he needs to sleep. He entertains himself and hardly fusses. Although, aside from his dark hair and green eyes, he's a definite face clone of his dad. Alejandro has some strong genes, which will probably carry on to the next generation.

Since the snapdragons keep Draco's needs from plummeting, the nanny mostly does her own thing during the day, such as constantly smelling the flowers.

Looks like you had a good day at school, huh, Aquila?

Aquila: I'm at a B-!

Hey, good for you!

Aquila: Homework still sucks though.

Eh, can't argue with you there. I always hated it.

I actually downloaded a mod that lets kids and teens finish their homework more quickly. I think it also applies to Uni and assignments. Not sure if it applies to term papers as well.

Cetus brought Alexander Goth home from school and they spent some time talking, but I think Alexander ended up leaving right after this conversation. I think this is the only time we see him since I had to move the family to a new hood not long after due to this one corrupting.

Rae and Alejandro came home from their jobs at around the same time and Alejandro ended up reaching the top of the Education Career and becoming permaplat! So, now both he and Rae will get their platinum graves and probably live forever and drive me insane.

Rae congratulated her husband by giving him a much needed back massage. I might complain about this couple, but I really do love them.

Like always, I spaced out and forgot another birthday, this time Draco's. He's definitely one of the cuter kids I've had in my game and an even better looking teen, as I have played that far. I also ended up transforming the nursery into a bedroom for him.

Don't worry, Rae isn't pregnant. She just has the flu.

Rae: How would you know? I just might be pregnant!

Uh because you two haven't tried for a baby in about two days and I just got the popup saying you were sick?

Rae: I'd rather be pregnant.

Nope, sorry. Just the flu.

Alejandro seems to feel fine and ends up maxing out his body skill. Unfortunately, despite being a Knowledge Sim, he actually skills a little more slowly than his wife.

Alejandro: Must be that secondary Pleasure Aspiration coming through.

Probably.

Even though it's late, Cetus calls up Alexander Goth for a little chat before bedtime.

Hey, shouldn't you two be asleep? It's a school night.

Draco: We're not tired.

Cetus: Yeah, when I'm heir, there will be no more bedtimes, ever.

I remember being their age and fighting bedtimes. Now, I love sleep.

Not long after I sent the boys to bed, this happened. I was hoping that my game might crash again, but unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky.

Yeah yeah, we're so scared *yawn*.

One of the first things I always install when building or furnishing a house is the burglar alarm, along with the smoke alarm.

The police came immediately and a fight broke out. It happened in the guest bedroom.

I tried to keep everyone in bed, but they immediately ran to where the fight was happening and had various reactions. Rae and Cetus were both cheering and jeering, and Aquila and Draco couldn't stand to look.

The police officer proved that she was one of the more competent ones and ended up besting the burglar. He didn't even have a chance to think of stealing anything.

The wouldbe criminal was promptly arrested and sent outside to wait in the police car while the area was secured. The family also got a few extra simoleons for helping to catch the criminal, even though they didn't do anything. But hey, I'll take it.

Er...Alejandro? You know your house was just broken into?

Alejandro: Was anyone hurt?

Uh...no.

Alejandro: Was anything stolen?

Doesn't look like it.

Alejandro: Then please don't interrupt me while I'm doing my business.

I'll just leave him alone for now.

Draco: Aww, Dad. Do I have to do my homework? I want to go outside and play.

Alejandro: Sorry, son. No time for playing today. After you finish your homework, I want you to take a shower and put on your best clothes. The headmaster is coming in a few hours.

Draco: Okaaaaay.

Cetus and Aquila finished their homework and popped open a couple of books to study.

Aquila: I think our creator just wants to make us look like we're smart.

Cetus: That and the headmaster is coming soon. So, we have to look studious in front of him just so we can get in.

Actually, all the headmaster cares about is if you have expensive enough furnishings and a level 10 cooking meal. He's pretty shallow like that. I just want you guys to get scholarships for college.

The headmaster arrived promptly at 5PM and was greeted by Cetus while his dad worked on cooking dinner.

I didn't get any pictures because not too much happened. But Draco did end up getting accepted into Private School, which is the most important part.

Cetus: You spaced out again, didn't you?

Yup! You'll get used to it. It's actually easier to let you guys age up on your own. Anyways, Cetus here rolled Family, perfect for the first heir. He really loves sims who are good cooks and wear hats and he's not too fond of makeup. I rolled his gender preference and he's bi, but I'm thinking he might lean a little more towards boys. He really wants to grow old with someone he loves and reach that Golden Anniversery.

Cetus had a quick workout to earn a body skill point and fulfill one of his wants. After which, he wanted to get an afterschool job in the Culinary Career and become an overachiever like his dad wanted too.

Even though he cancelled out his actions just to go hug his mom, I can't be mad at him since this is one of my favourite interactions that kids do.

Draco and Aquila have very similar personalities, with only the most minor differences. So, it wasn't surprising to see that Draco is a bit of a showoff like his sister.

Cetus is pretty addicted to the exercise bike, but this means it'll be easy for him to build his body skill.

Cetus: I gotta get strong. No one will ever look at me with these noodle arms.

I definitely would've crushed on you when I was in school.

Cetus: But now crushing on me would be creepy.

Yup, which is why I'm going to stop this conversation right now.

Despite their big age difference, Aquila and Draco are very close and play with each other constantly. I'm so happy that this family is a pretty tight knit one. I'm fully expecting the next generation to hate each other.

Since he's going to be taking over the family eventually, Cetus worked on the garden and ended up getting a Bronze Badge just from watering the plants and pulling weeds.

You know, maybe if you actually did something instead of just yelling at the person, our newspapers wouldn't get stolen so much.

I don't know why I'm complaining. We don't use them for anything.

Oh look, Cetus is about to get scammed.

Matchmaker: I take offense to that. I'll have you know that I have a 100% approval rating.

It doesn't count when you give yourself a review.

Matchmaker: Ignore her, dear. Now I require 5,000 simoleons in order for you to meet the one of your dreams.

Cetus: Wow, that's steep, but I'll do anything to meet my one true love, it's a deal!

Don't say I didn't warn you.

No! Just...no! While his face is pretty interesting, he's blonde and I'm trying to avoid that. He's also an adult, which makes this oh so wrong.

Even Cetus could tell that this wasn't going to work out and after a few painful interactions, ended the date.

Unfortunately, there aren't that many teens males in Pleasantview. So, choices are pretty slim. Cetus might have to wait until Uni to meet someone.

Draco brought a friend home from school, but I can't be bothered to remember his name.

He's a bit of a jerk though and didn't want to do anything with Draco. So, he was asked to leave.

Cetus: Hey, sis! Whoa, when did you have your birthday?

Aquila: Just a few minutes ago. Thinking about getting rid of this ponytail and maybe putting on a little makeup.

Cetus: I think you look fine without all that gunk on your face, but I'm also your brother. So, I probably shouldn't say that.

Aquila: And it's not like I'd listen to you anyways.

After Aquila brushed out her long hair and experimented with a little makeup, she was happy with the results. I'm also happy too. If this was a matriarch, she'd be one of the prettiest heiresses I'd ever had.

Aquila decided that she wanted as much Fun and Pleasure out of life. She really loved fit boys with brown hair, but didn't like it too much when they walked around in their underwear. She really wanted a lot of Dream Dates throughout her life.

Like her older brother, Aquila also loved to work out and I eventually ended up getting them exercise bikes for their room. I'll probably end up building them a workout room at some point if I can be bothered.

Cetus was proving to be very charismatic and could often be found giving speeches in front of the mirror.

Cetus: I have to be good at it if I'm going to lead the student debate team.

I always hated speaking in front of people. So, I was happy to just watch and silently pretend I knew what people were talking about.

Aquila might be a Pleasure Sim, but she still does love to read.

Aquila: I actually just want to do something quiet while Mom naps, that's all.

I wish my family was this considerate of me when I was napping. They just seem to think that me sleeping means that they can be as loud as they want.

I probably should've gotten this family a stereo to dance to sooner. These two have a long way to go before they can earn that Tsang Footwork Scholarship.

Rae and Alejandro are still as romantic as ever. I also bought the ladybug houses so that the plants wouldn't get sick as much. Plus, I don't want Plantsims just yet.

I finally broke down and got the family a dog. This is Otis, who is one of my favourite of the premade pets. He's kind of a Genius, but has his Doofus moments, Hyper, kind of Friendly, but can also be Independent at times, very Cowardly, and very Finicky.

He shows off his smarts by quickly learning how to Shake first off.

Cetus came home from school with an A and went to show his dad. Alejandro did celebrate after he finished with his exercises.

Cetus finished his homework, then headed out to start his first day on the job. Rae has also taken on a new job in the Criminal Career and made it to the top in just a day.

Draco invited a friend home from school and she seemed way nicer than the boy he'd invited a few days ago. They mostly spent their time hanging out, but at least it was better than being snubbed.

I'm 90% certain that Cetus reached the top of the Teen Culinary Career here. So, he has every right to celebrate. This also means he gets a scholarship out of it!

So I was a huge idiot and thought that Cetus had some Mechanical Skill points. I tried to make him fix the computer and this happened! Luckily, he only ended up a little singed and a shower fixed him right up.

Even though it was dark outside, it was still early. It was the perfect time to stargaze. I totally don't have ulterior motives either. Nope, not me!

When I put in that Higher Chance for Abductions mod, I didn't think it'd be this easy. Cheating? Eh, probably. Am I a mod-aholic? Most definitely. Do I care? Nope!

Usually sims will run outside when someone gets abducted, but these two didn't even move from their spots.

Rae: She'll be back soon enough.

I can't decide if Rae's a bad mom or just a super chill mom. What do you guys, think?

Aquila was dropped off a few hours later in a most embarrassing and compromising position. Poor girl won't be sitting down for a week.

Rae just laughs at her daughter, which isn't surprising because it's Rae.

Draco: Cool! Can I have a turn?

Rae: When you're older, sweetie.

It doesn't look like it was that bad. Look, you're even smiling.

Aquila: I may be smiling, but I'm traumatised beyond belief.

Ah, got it. Got it.

Rae and Draco should've gone inside, since it was really late at this point, but they decided to do this for a while. As long as she doesn't let go of him, I won't stop them.

Otis was a little on the dirty side and needed a bath. He's one of the best premade dogs, since he doesn't try to jump out. Unfortunately, I couldn't bring him with us when we moved hoods.

Aquila is very supportive of her little brother, even if he doesn't quite get that handstand or cartwheel right.

Aquila wanted to call up the matchmaker for a date, but before she did that, she played with Draco before sending him inside.

Rae knew just what her daughter was doing as she left for her Entertainment job, but still gave her a wave as she headed for the carpool.

*Sigh* Another one of my sims getting scammed. Go ahead and fork over that 5,000 Aquila like I know you're going to do.

This guy ended up being dropped out of the sky for her. Not too bad looking, a teen just like her. I don't remember his name, though.

He's also very attracted to her, which bolds well. I decide to let her have this date. I don't think Aquila would settle down with the first guy she meets. She'd want to play the field a little, first.

Their date gets off to a pretty good start with a few jokes and some flirts here and there.

They both wanted to go out for an early dinner. The 50s diner was the perfect place for a first date between two teens. There was hardly anyone else there. So, they were served almost right away.

Aquila tried to lay down the flirting, but he didn't seem too into it, even though he was definitely susceptible earlier. Poor Aquila was left disappointed as she finished her chili.

They did manage to take some photobooth photos before my game crashed. It was at this point that I realised that the neighborhood was corrupted and cloned the entire family to put them in a new hood.

But that's it for this chapter. The next chapter will have the family being moved to Belladonna Cove in my attempts to save this legacy. Hope everyone enjoyed and Happy Simming!
